Formula 1 management 2011 Grand Prix 19 print box set signed by Bernie Ecclestone

In 2011, Mark Dickens was commissioned by the CEO of Formula One, Mr. Bernie Ecclestone to create 19 paintings, one for each Grand Prix. Through these 19 individual and original commissioned pieces of art, Mark Dickens has showcased the beauty and dynamism of each host city on the 2011 F1calendar. Integral to the artwork is Mark’s collaboration with the circuit CEOs and Chairmen, sponsors and other dignitaries all expressing what Formula One means to them in their own writing. The original artwork were all individually created and finished using mixed media panels combining print, paint, fabric, photographic transfers, embellishments and hand-written text set onto marine board panels. The artist attended each of the races throughout the 2011 F1 season, taking in first-hand all the culture, atmosphere and excitement of the world’s leading motor racing championship, which is one of the most celebrated and revered international sports. The works have succinctly blended the cultural and architectural beauty of each host city with the technology and unbridled passion of Formula One™ racing – a potent combination. The original works of art of each the featured host cities were presented at each event throughout the 2012 Formula One. Packaged in a museum archival box, this collection contains an individual print of each one of the nineteen original paintings all printed on high quality 330g Somerset Velvet fine art paper (Dimensions are 50 cm x 50cm). Each print has been signed and numbered by the artist and it is also accompanied by a signed quote from Bernie Ecclestone which has also been signed by the artist with the edition number. These collection’s are rare with only 500 being made available and most usually given to VIPS etc. The nineteen prints would look superb once framed and hung together to form a wonderful display piece.
